"I started working on the set of Remember the Titans from Day 1. I saw Ryan and only knew he was Young Hercules. We were in a couple of scenes together about the 3rd day of shooting. He really is just a down to earth kind of guy when you get to know him. We talked occasionally on the set and on the phone, and knew each other on a first name basis...so to speak. He came to a couple of parties I was at and when he recognized me at one, I got him in on the VIP list. He is completely devoted to his girlfriend and has alot of respect for others. I envy his girlfriend in New Zealand. She came down for one of the cast and crew parties we had. I have a lot of respect for Ryan and wish we could have become better friends before he left Atlanta. "
