This website was born on 10 February 1999, my sixth fansite
(following Erik Thomson, Kevin Smith, Carlos Ponce, Chris Conrad, and Karl
Urban). I hadn't really thought much of Ryan, even though I had been
watching him on Young Hercules. (I was watching the show for Kevin Smith
and Chris Conrad.) Then I met Ryan and I was so taken by him that I just
had to show my admiration by creating this site.
The site had its 50,000th hit on 23 May 2001. I know that
this site is the most popular at kiari.com, but the counter has gone to cyber
heaven, so I have idea how many Ryan fans have made their way here. And I
don't have a guestbook anymore. Alas!
Since the release of The Notebook, this fansite has seen an
enormous jump in visitors. Because of this, I moved (Ohhh) Ryan... to my
personal domain (walelia.com). And since I moved it, I thought why not a
revamp?
The last real update to this site was back in 2002.
Hopefully with the new look and new location, I will keep it updated.
Otherwise, just consider it my way of showing my appreciation for the talented
Ryan Gosling...
